Special thumbs up for the clever simplicity of your approach my friend. This is just striking and I think the vision and originality are easy 5 stars for that matter with no question.
My only concern is the lack of interaction between the central piece and the textures. I understand, and very much feel the pressure and pain as the direct results of that defined division; however, I believe a certain transition could improve the impact of the image by miles.
For instance, some oldschool fractals and abstract brushes could join on an overlay of steam on the texture over the left clouds to help provide the right space for an ultimate free fall from the foreground deep into the background and otherwise.
One could argue that this may question the concept of buried dreams; yet, in my humble opinion, there is more than two dimensions to your art. And I rather experience things moving deep in the Z direction.
After all that, what is most striking is the great blending of textures and the masterful control over the hues and tones that I think you just do instinctively.
I also think that the contrast between the rough textural frame and the wonderful scenery seems to be very successful. The hanger vs. flower reference is also most interesting; although, I personally find the hanger much more calming
It is always a pleasant trip enjoying your artwork mate. Keep it up!
I like the space in this work..The close-up from the wall and then that lots of free space behind you can't reach..Even when there was a lock open..This makes it frustrating to be in front of this wall.
This lock is not calming me down.but stressing me to hell..
