Am Morgen erscheint die Sonne
Sie kennt das Schlüsselwort
Es empfängt mich das Meer
in den Farben des versprochenden Himmels
Die Brandung ist in und über mir
Alle Bilder sind die Wind
Auch wenn ich es nicht sagen kann
ich kann es immer hin singen

Am Abend erwartet mich ein Fisch zum essen
nach Tisch sogar
die nicht mehr ganz entlegenen Sterne
Des Nachts ist die Mitte der Ort in dem ich schlafe
am Ende der Welt
Im Traum beraten mich die Vögel
damit ich es später singen kann

The sun appears in the morning
It knows the keyword
The sea welcomes me
in the colors of the promised heavens
The surf is within and above me
All images are the wind

I can nevertheless sing

In the evening a fish awaits me for dinner
and after the meal
the stars are no longer so out of the way
The night is the center of the place in which I sleep
at the end of the world
In my dreams the birds advise me
on what I can later sing
